Upgraded

Well, Word Press 1.5 is finally released. The first thing that I noticed is the improved layout of the admin area. Actually, the first thing I noticed was not getting an error about not being able to access the admin site because of reload issues or something. So, I can log in now and post. That’s good. I hope that after I post this, I don’t get a bunch of spam. I hope they fixed that too.

Another thing I noticed was the sidebar addition. Firefox has changed the way the side bar works and right now it doesn’t look like the WordPress sidebar is working. The great thing about the old sidebar was that I could have the screen to write a blog entry available all the time while my web browser was up. This was convienent because I couldn’t get the blog by e-mail function working. Well, maybe I should try to get it working.

I guess I also need to see if my wp-people hack still works and what I need to do to upgrade it for WP 1.5. Oh well, things are never done.
