Meetup for BlackBerry 10 by DeanLogic version 4.2.7 is now available for download.
As with the 4.2.6 release, this release is meant to give the user the Leave Group option for a Meetup group. This doesn’t give the user the option of telling the Organizer why you are leaving the group, but I will put that in later. There also isn’t a warning to keep your from leaving a group by accident either. So, use with caution, because you have to use the site to Join a Group. As stated before, the Join Group steps are different based on the group requirements, which causes a lot of complexity that I haven’t had the time to deal with, but I hope to find that time some where down the road.
BlackBerry has been going through a lot of personnel changes lately and who knows what the future of BB10 will be after they are done. I really hope that they manage to find a way to put more effort and support into BB10, as I still believe that it is a superior phone OS.
Enjoy the small update.
